The Juanita Brooks Historic District sits directly across the street from the Wilford Cox home, originally built by Apostle Erastus Snow. This new historic park is a phased project that will include a museum dedicated to Juanita and the George Brooks Family, a new building which will house a lecture hall, films on Southern Utah, and a repository for stories and history of southern Utah, northern Arizona and northern Nevada. The surrounding acre of ground will include beautiful gardens and walking paths for community events and receptions. Join us in this project to preserve and share the history and contribution of Juanita Brooks and all the settlers of Southern Utah.
